"I walk at least 5 times a week in the morning for my health. Today, I walked by a lawn that looked beautiful at first glance—perfectly green, needing no water or care. But here's the thing—it was fake. It can’t grow or change. Then, right across the street, I noticed another lawn with a big patch of brown spots. This one was real. It may not be perfect now, but with some water and attention, that grass will grow back stronger.
This reminded me of how many of us chase perfection, trying to look flawless from the outside. But real life is not perfect. Real life has seasons—some that bloom beautifully and others that feel dry and challenging. And just like that real lawn, when we're in a dry season, what we need is care and patience, not shame or frustration.
