
The enemy of your peace, purpose, health, and success is being distracted, isolated, and drained. Don't ignore the warning signs that can cause you to stumble. I want to remind you of a simple but powerful word: H.A.L.T.
When you find yourself Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired, don’t just push through—STOP and take inventory! Don’t keep pressing forward like you’ve got it all together—STOP. Because when you are depleted, when your spirit is weak, when your emotions are stretched thin, that is when the enemy whispers lies, that is when mistakes are made, and that is when weariness takes over your purpose. OK, so now the Supreme's song "Stop in the Name of Love" is in my head :) Love yourself enough to slow down when these 4 stressors show up.
HUNGRY? Don’t just feed your body—feed your soul with the Word. Feed your body with healthy choices. ANGRY? Don’t let bitterness take root—release it before it poisons your peace. LONELY? You were never meant to do life alone—stay connected, stay covered, stay accountable! You are never alone—God is always with you, but you must also reach out to those who uplift and strengthen you. TIRED? When you’re running on fumes, you make mistakes. Don’t let exhaustion pull you away from your priorities. Some of you are so busy, so distracted, so caught up in the noise that you don’t even realize you’ve drifted from your purpose. You’ve put your calling on hold, disconnected from your community, and let fatigue blur your focus. Some of you are fighting battles that require strength you don’t have because you refuse to HALT. But today, I challenge you—when you feel weak, don’t push through recklessly. Instead, pause, pray, and let God refill you. When you are focused, rested, and filled, there is NOTHING the enemy can do to stop you! Because a well-rested, well-fed, spiritually full person is unstoppable

My takeaway and note to self… halT because I’m Tired… I plan to stop and rest because I don’t want to make mistakes by being determined to push through. As I am resting, breathing, inhaling and exhaling, I will allow this to be a time of RESToration as well. Thank you for the reminder…
